Spend a Weekend in Bergen
Spoon Carving Weekend Bergen was created in 2017 over a couple of big burgers and beers at a 'metal and rock' pub in Bergen city called Inside. Andreas asked Henrik if there were some kind of spoon carving event or similar nearby, and if not, should there be one? Henrik had the contacts and resources, Andreas had an idea and experience and together they had a vision and a plan.
*That first year, 2018, Hultafors kindly joined us and contributed to making the weekend unforgettable.
*In 2019 Tormek Sharpening Innovation contributed a great deal with tutorials and workshops.
*2020 and 2021 was the quite quiet Covid-years, still SCWB, but small scale.
*2022 - www.knivspesialisten.no/ provided us with excellent contest- and lottery prizes!

The first two years SCWB was held at Hordamuseet in Fana, Bergen, but when Covid hit us there were restrictions in travelling and participants. That meant renting a venue would be troublesome, so Henrik dicided to host the event at his house.
Now, in 2022, the 5th annual carving event will take place, and we are genuilly thrilled. Daniel, one of the regular participants (who has helped out earlier) was eager to help out a bit more, the people at Hordamuseum were more than happy to have us use the area again, and people are generally overly enthusiastic, just as we are!
